What Car seat should I buy?

While there is no sure clean cut answer, there are a few factors that may help in making the decision.

-That it fits the vehicle properly

ALWAYS follow the car seats specific instructional manual. Your vehicle will also have a manual that mentions car seat installation, as this is different in every make and model. If at all possible, test your car seat in your vehicle before buying.

-That it specifically fits your child's age, height and weight requirements.

To maximize safety, keep your child in the car seat for as long as possible, as long as the child fits within the manufacturer’s height and weight requirements. Keep your child in the back seat at least through age 12.  Check this link out at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It breaks down age and set up by car seat type. Also, look for high weight and height limits so you can use the rear facing feature as long as possible. (rear facing is 5 times safer than forward!).
