The one that started it all. Over 20 years ago, Monte designers Ralph & Michelle couldn't find a modern glider worthy of their son's nursery — so they designed one. The result was the Luca, the original modern glider that set a new standard for what a nursery chair could look and feel like, and it hasn't lost a step since.

Clean lines, exceptional comfort, and a smooth gliding motion make the Luca as beautiful to look at as it is to sit in. The ergonomic arm height is perfectly positioned for feeding, the high back provides proper head and neck support, and the seat is genuinely comfortable for the long days and nights that come with new parenthood. Add the included lumbar pillow for custom support wherever you need it most — lower back, neck, or elbow during nursing sessions.

Choose between a classic solid wood gliding base or a metal swivel-and-glide base, with the option to add contrast or matching piping for a personalized touch. The removable, washable seat cushion cover keeps things practical, and a matching ottoman is available to complete the look. Available in water-repellant suede microfiber or 80% recycled bonded leather.
