ODC SCHOOL AND RHYTHM & MOTION DANCE PROGRAM

Founded in 1971, ODC is a groundbreaking contemporary arts institution with longstanding roots in the San Francisco community.  Comprised of a world class contemporary dance company (ODC/Dance), a theater venue (ODC Theater), and a training school for recreational and professional dancers with an extensive youth, teen and adult program (ODC School), ODC aims to serve a diverse population of artists and arts enthusiasts. 

 In 2005, ODC entered into a groundbreaking partnership with the Rhythm & Motion Dance Program (celebrating its 30th year), a company built on fostering physical and emotional well being through sharing the joy of dance with people from all walks of life.  Together, the two companies offer over 200 classes a week for all ages and all levels, including African, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Salsa and the ever-popular Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout Program.  Our two building campus is one of the most active centers for dance on the West Coast and through our various programs, we aim to inspire audiences, cultivate artists, engage community, and foster diversity and inclusion through dance.
