A Poetry/Spoken Word Performance and Book Release Party

Come Join us for a lively evening at Aldea. We a thrilled to
have JENNY OVERMAN, a dynamic poet and performer
in our store, and sharing her work.

Thursday July 26th from 6 to 8 we will be celebrating
the release of Jenny Overman's new book, "I'm so White in Some ways".
Jenny will be performing from 7 until 7.30pm

JENNY OVERMAN is a Jewish poet, performer, dancer, artist, teacher and
MA candidate at JFK"S arts and consciousness program in Berkeley. She
is a native New Yorker currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This radical performance poet reaches her audience through spoken word
pieces about privilege, race, class, body image, sexuality, and
Judaism. Her performances are consistently raw, edgy, thought
provoking and truth telling.

Jenny has performed her work in New York and throughout the Bay Area.
Recently she published her first book of poetry entitled, "I'm So
